Sacramental Programme

Parents of baptised children entering Year 3 are invited by the school and parish family to present children to prepare for, and celebrate, the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. They are called the “Sacraments of Initiation” as God calls us to become full members of His Catholic family.

Over the course of the year, the children are prepared to make their First Forgiveness and to receive Jesus in Holy Communion.

The programme is a partnership between home, school and parish to provide the best environment for children to grow in their understanding of the faith and how to live it.

During the month of May, we celebrate a special assembly where the children have the honour of crowning Our lady.
